PAT Testing

What is Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)?

PAT is a result of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 published by the HSE, in which employers are required to ensure electrical systems are safe for employees to use. It encompasses several types of test, which are carried out by a City & Guilds 2377-200 qualified engineer.

Why should I get this done?

Portable Appliance Testing ensures compliance with your UK legal requirements and duty of care. It also shows compliance with your UK insurance requirements, and in certain cases may reduce your insurance premium. It allows you to enjoy peace of mind, both in the workplace and your domestic property.
